The Game Room is a video game review show hosted by Mark Bussler and David Crosson.

History[]

Intially, FromUSAlive.com never planned to do a video game review show. Both Mark and Dave felt that it was necessary and decided to make it a reality. The first episode, the review of Metal Gear VR Missions and Driver, both for the Sony PlayStation, was recorded on November 7, 1999. It was later uploaded on November 11, 1999 at 2:30pm EST.

At first, not many people watched The Game Room. However within a few months, the viewership for the show increased and it quickly became the most popular show on FromUSAlive.com.

In the summer of 2000, Nintendo was advertising Perfect Dark for the Nintendo 64 on FromUSAlive.com. Seeing this as an opportunity to gain corporate sponsorship, Mark and Dave made a deal with Nintendo to review the game and in return, if the review was favorable, Nintendo would sponsor them. However, after the review was posted online, Nintendo pulled the deal due to its critical review of the game.

FromUSAlive.com was shut down on October 23, 2000 and The Game Room was canceled. The last review, posted on that day, was for Tokyo Xtreme Racer 2, for the Dreamcast.
